This listing is for a custom watercolor painting of your favorite (or someone else's) recipe.

How does it work?

Choose your size from the options above and purchase, then send your recipe (including ingredient list, any photo references, and what kind of colors you prefer) via email to maddieandthemoon@gmail.com. Alternatively, email maddieandthemoon@gmail.com before purchasing if you are unsure about the recipe you would like illustrated.

*If there is a lot of writing/text for your recipe, we may need to work together to shorten it.*

Once finished with the sketch, I will send you a photo of the recipe sketch for approval (please double check all spelling before submitting your recipe). Once approved, I will paint your illustration on archival watercolor paper, send you an image of the finished painting, and mail out your recipe! 

If you would like to order additional prints of your recipe, please include that in your message to me. 

Current turnaround time: Please allow 2-3 weeks for finished painting.

What a wonderful way to celebrate family cooking and good memories!

I recently had Maddie create a custom watercolor recipe painting. She was so easy to work with and listened carefully to my ideas, and she creatively brought our family's special recipe alive - capturing the uniqueness and beauty of both the recipe and the cook. Just beautiful!

Now I'm thinking about other recipes to have her do for other family favorites. Can't wait to see her artistry shine through again in another recipe. I love this idea because it brings art into the kitchen, celebrates the cook, celebrates the special times of shared food, and is beautiful way to keep those memories alive. Professionally packaged and mailed safely, too! I also loved the options of sharing copies with other family members!!! :o)
