About the Shop
Every item in the shop is handmade and designed by me. I also wrap, package, and send out each order. Have a look around, and don't ever hesitate to send me a message (using the "Contact" form above) with any questions or comments.
Art Prints + Greeting Cards
Art prints and greeting cards are professionally printed on museum grade, archival cotton art paper that is made in the USA from reclaimed fiber. The art paper I use is mid weight (250gsm) and has a slight texture, reminiscent of hot press watercolor paper.
All of my prints and cards are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks which are guaranteed to last 200 years.
All prints come signed by the artist on the backside. Most prints are borderless, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
Framing
Prints are not framed. At the moment there are no options for purchasing framed prints from my shop.
Caring for Prints
Store and hang art prints away from direct sunlight. Prolonged periods of sunlight can cause even the best quality materials to break down over time. Handle with care, as natural skin oils from hands can easily transfer to prints. Do not keep art prints stored in their cellophane sleeves for a prolonged period of time.
Packaging
All orders are shipped in flat, recycled mailers with chipboard for a safe delivery. Prints and cards are wrapped in protective cellophane sleeves. Orders with only stickers ship in a thick kraft envelope. I use recycled, compostable and recyclable materials wherever possible.
Orders with multiple items ship packaged together to reduce excess waste. Please leave me a note at checkout if you would like items packaged separately.
Gift orders + Gift wrapping
Many customers choose to send Maddie and the Moon artwork to their friends and loved ones. If you would like to do this, leave a note at checkout with the name of the sender, the name of the recipient, and an optional gift message.
For orders with a gift message included, the message will be hand-written on a small watercolor card and attached to the ribbon wrapped around the art.
Custom and personalized orders
I do offer custom watercolor paintings. If you have something in mind, let me know! I can also customize some designs that are already in the shop. Contact me using the "Contact" form from the main menu or email: maddieandthemoon@gmail.com
